About the Book

This is a first collection of poems from Irish poet Aine MacAodha, A  labour of love spanning almost ten years. Her poems reflect the Landscape of Ireland both past and present, touching on many of the pre-historic sites found in County Tyrone.

 

About the Author

Aine macAodha is a Poet and keen photographer from North Ireland. She has been writing poetry from an early age, which began by reading her mothers old Irish ballad books that she collected over the years. As her own children grew she found she had more time to devote to the craft of writing and learning about poets both old and new, and enjoys her studies of ancient Ireland and the histories of Ireland up to the present day.

 She finds inspiration in the blanket bogs and various landscapes in and around the Sperrin Mountains,  this is present also in her photography. She has three grown children, Michaela, Penny and James.
